I hope during this time you are all staying healthy and safe. I also hope that you are still creating music. I know doing recording projects and daily warm-ups, and playing a little piano are keeping me sane!
On Sunday May 17, the Magnolia Chorale board of directors, Jean-Marie, and past conductors and assistant conductors hosted an amazing virtual hang out and “Name That Tune” competition. If you were there, I hope you had as much fun as I did. For those of you who could not attend, you were greatly missed.
Name That Tune was composed of three rounds, listening to short clips of past Magnolia Chorale recordings, and trying to not only remember the song title, but also the composer! After three rounds I barely lost to the oh so mighty Evan Norberg!
This was probably one of the most fun virtual events I have been involved in thus far in quarantine! I sure hope you get the chance to make it to future events and look forward to making music together again.
Magnolia Chorale is...
a community of singers who enjoy spending time together making great music.
