 by Pat Gaffney, Parishioner at Ascension and Founding Member of the Magnolia Chorale Fifteen members of the Magnolia Chorale joined the choir of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension on Saturday, May 20, to celebrate the life of founding member Milton (Milt) Furness, who passed away on April 27, 2017. The photo below was taken during rehearsal of the Hallelujah Chorus prior to the service. During the reception following the service, one of Ascension's parishioners was heard to comment: "Now everyone's going to want the Hallelulah Chorus sung at their service!"
