Calling all students who love to sing!
Magnolia Chorale, directed by Jean-Marie Kent, is offering four scholarships for talented student singers to join us.
What we can offer you:
Who we are: a 50-member community chorus that sings masterworks, folk songs, jazz and contemporary music
When we meet: Sundays from 7:00-9:15pm, September through early December and late January through the end of April
Where we meet: Magnolia United Church, 3555 W. McGraw Street, Seattle, WA
When we are singing:
Next concert December 4 & 5, 202021 Winter concert
How to apply:
Please send an email expressing your interest to contact@magnoliachorale.org. We will then ask for a teacher reference and a singing interview. From our applicant pool, we will choose two singers for each semester. Singers may apply to sing for more than one semester.
What we can offer you:
- A scholarship ($250 for a concert series)
- Strengthen your skills from two private lessons during the scheduled rehearsals with our professional singing teachers
- Deeper musical capability from learning and performing with seasoned choristers
