Something for everyone
in Magnolia this spring

Picture
Though the weather may still be frosty, the Magnolia Chorale is warming up for our blockbuster spring concert series and we invite you to join us. “Seriously Carefree” is the theme and it covers
a repertoire packed with fun and romance, poetry and opera,
and just a bit of the unexpected.

Stephen Sondheim’s Comedy Tonight lyrics set the stage with “Something familiar, something peculiar, something for everyone,” and we’re off for a rollicking good time. From the nonsense of Mäntyjärvi’s El Hambo, to the poignant melodies of Randall Thompson, to Verdi’s Brindisi (the drinking song from La Traviata),
to Bill Withers' Lean on Me, there really is something for everyone.
