The ongoing impact of COVID-19 makes it necessary to continue meeting online, but, we're not letting that keep us from singing. Our director Jean-Marie Kent has come up with an exciting group of virtual rehearsals once a month through the end of April:
- January 31 — Cantiamo, Magnolia
- February 28 — Songs of Freedom
- March 28 — Songs of the Sea
- April 25 — Spring Sing
Magnolia Chorale members can access more information and helpful resources on Choir Genius. To access Choir Genius just follow the instructions in the email you received from the membership team through Groupanizer or contact: help@magnolia.groupanizer.com
Rehearsal Info (Pre-pandemic)
Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 9:15 in the upstairs social hall (enter off of Eastmont) at the Magnolia United Church of Christ (Congregational) located at 3555 West McGraw, Seattle.* Parking is available in the lot located behind the church. The initial fall and spring rehearsals (typically the second week in September and the third week of January) are longer to allow time to introduce all the selected pieces to the singers and to allow old members and new members to get acquainted. For each concert series there are twelve or thirteen Sunday rehearsals and one dress rehearsal the Wednesday before the concert series from 7:00 to 9:15 at the concert venue. Concert attire is not required at the dress rehearsal.

What do we ask of you?
Magnolia Chorale is a community of singers who come together to make music and promote harmony—in four parts. As in any organization, it is important to know what is expected of the membership. Take a look at Magnolia Chorale Tells All to learn about the guidelines that help us all sing together in harmony.
